Arts Alive

Join us for Arts Alive, a monthly celebration of art, culture, and community in Old Town Eureka, held on the first Saturday of every month from 6–9 p.m.

Experience the energy of Old Town as galleries, museums, theaters, bars, and restaurants stay open late, filling the streets with art, live music, performances, and creative pop-ups. Stroll from space to space, meet local artists, and enjoy great food, drinks, and entertainment along the way.

Whether you’re a longtime art lover or just looking for a fun night out, Arts Alive is the perfect way to experience the creativity and charm of Eureka.

Taste of Main Street

Join us Thursday, October 1, from 5:00–8:00 PM for an evening of delicious bites, local flavors, live music, and Downtown and Old Town Eureka exploration.

Your $35 ticket includes appetizer-sized specialty offerings at participating restaurants, food producers, and food trucks throughout the Eureka Main Street District. Discover new favorites, revisit longtime favorites, and experience the local food and businesses that make Eureka special. Tickets are available for purchase online!

Great Pumpkin Hunt

Great Pumpkin Hunt

Every fall, Downtown & Old Town Eureka comes alive with creativity and Halloween fun! Local businesses transform their storefronts into a festive pumpkin gallery, decorating and naming their own one-of-a-kind pumpkins.

Families can pick up a free Great Pumpkin Hunt entry form and map at the Eureka Welcome Center (108 F Street), then explore the district to find and identify each pumpkin. Complete the hunt and return your entry form to the Eureka Welcome Center to receive a fun prize!

Entry forms will be available October 24-31.

Downtown & Old Town Trick-or-Treat

Put on your costume and bring the family to Downtown & Old Town Eureka for an afternoon of Halloween fun! Trick-or-treaters can visit participating businesses throughout the district and fill their treat bags along the way.

Eureka's 4th of July Festival

Eureka’s 4th of July Festival takes place along several blocks of Old Town. This year’s celebration will be bigger and more festive than ever, marking the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 170th anniversary of the City of Eureka.

The family-friendly festival features local vendors, food, crafts, kids’ activities, community booths, and live music on multiple stages throughout the day. The celebration continues into the evening with a fireworks show over Humboldt Bay at 10 p.m.

Eureka Summer Concert Series

The Eureka Summer Concert Series is a favorite of many and a fun time for all! Local and traveling bands are scheduled to play every Thursday from 6-8pm at Madaket Plaza for ten weeks throughout the summer season. This free event is family-friendly. You are encouraged to bring a chair, enjoy a tasty meal from one of the food trucks, and groove to the music!
