
Eureka Main Street invites the community and visitors to celebrate Independence Day with a full day of festivities on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in historic Old Town Eureka.
The 4th of July Festival spans five city blocks along Second Street and offers a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment. Festival-goers can enjoy vendor booths featuring food, crafts, art, and local community organizations. A petting zoo, fire trucks, police vehicles, horse and carriage rides, Madaket Bay Cruises, and kids’ activities will add to the fun.
Live music will be presented on three stages throughout the day:
Eureka Main Street Stage / Gazebo (2nd & F Streets)
10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Claire Bent Jazz Quintet
12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Main Stage Humboldt
12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Humboldt Highlanders Pipe Band
1:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Jim Lahman Band
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Bayou Swamis
Phatsy Kline’s Music Stage (2nd & C Streets)
10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: A Banjo Makes 3
12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Triple Tones
2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Frogbite

The festivities conclude with the highly anticipated fireworks show over Humboldt Bay at 10:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to find a good waterfront viewing spot to enjoy the spectacular display.
Important reminders:
- No dogs, smoking/vaping, or alcohol are permitted.
- Personal fireworks are strictly prohibited in Old Town; enforcement will be in effect to ensure public safety.
