Come enjoy a glass of wine and an afternoon of jazz with Bill Allison and The Humboldt Jazz Silverbacks. Join us and these talented musicians at the MGMA, Sunday, May 19th for Wine & Jazz from 3:00-5:00pm.
The Humboldt Jazz Silverbacks consist of, Bill Allison –Vocals, Piano, and Trumpet, Michael Curin – Drums, and Dave Wilson –Guitar. The Humboldt Jazz Silverbacks will present a program of “Straight Ahead Swinging Jazz and Be-Bop!” Allison is known for adding original vocals on top of classic tunes, and has penned lyrics to some 40 jazz standards, all of which have added new range for vocalizations. It is the band’s mission to share their unusual mix of great jazz music!

The Morris Graves Museum of Art, located at 636 F Street, Eureka is open to the public noon-5p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for seniors (age 65 and over), military veterans, and students with ID; children 17 and under free; Families with an EBT Card and valid ID receive free admission through the Museums for All initiative, Museum members are free. Admission is always free for everyone on the first Saturday of every month, including First Saturday Night Arts Alive!, 6-9 p.m. and Mini Masters at the MGMA.
