Visit the Morris Graves Museum of Art from 6:00-9:00pm on Saturday, February 1st for Arts Alive! and spend an evening with Mister Moonbeam, a whimsical one-man band! Walking into the museum with eyes closed one might assume a full band was playing a recognizable but slightly warped brand of jangly 70’s-inspired folk-rock, only to open their eyes and find a man with silver hair in a three piece suit in front of a gold sequin curtain playing all of the instruments – simultaneously! Don’t miss this awesome performer!

Make sure to visit each of the galleries while you’re in the museum Saturday night too! Lay eyes on our newly installed exhibitions, 20/20 Vision: 20th Anniversary Fine Art Photography Competition & Exhibition, and Recurrence: Avery Palmer Returns to Humboldt, and our continuing exhibition, Gifts of Art, a celebration of art that has been gifted to the MGMA! And don’t forget to stop by the Humboldt Artist Gallery to visit with local artist, Claudia Lima, whose work will be highlighted in the gallery throughout the month of February…

Come enjoy a night of free art and music at the Morris Graves Museum of Art, from 6:00-9:00pm on Saturday, February 1st,  for Arts Alive!
