Enjoy a glass of wine and prepare yourself for an afternoon great music at The Morris Graves Museum of Art! Join us for Wine and Jazz with The HHMR Jazz Project, featuring the amazing Sacramento-based vocalist Dee Hemingway, accompanied by 3 outstanding Humboldt County musicians: Bill Moehnke on the drums, Tim Randles on the piano and Dale Cash on bass. Dee Hemingway is a former Humboldt County resident now living in Sacramento and currently touring with Brad Wilson and the Rollin Blues Thunder Band.
The group is a spin-off of members from Vintage Rock and Soul, a group that performed in the area from 2011-2015. The members worked so well together, they decided to form The HHMR Jazz Project! The HHMR Jazz Project will delight the audience with their spur of the moment tunes… Not in the habit of rehearsing, the audience is in for a treat with an improvised performance of jazz and pop standards.
Wine & Jazz is a monthly program, included with admission to the museum. Bring along your instrument, as audience members will be invited to jam with the band following the show.
