4th of July Festival
Eureka Main Street 4th of July Festival, is scheduled from 10a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th in historic Old Town, Eureka.
The festival spans five city blocks along Second Street. Vendor booths will feature a wide variety of foods, crafts, commercial items, fine art and community groups getting the word out about their organizations. There will be classic cars, electric vehicle car show, kids activities, fire trucks, horse & carriage rides, speeder card rides (1st & E Street), Johnston's Amusement Carnival (foot of D Street) and much more. No dogs or smoking, please.
Please remember NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND are permitted in Old Town, and the laws will be strictly enforced. We want to keep this a safe and fun holiday for everyone.
A fireworks show is planned to take place over Humboldt Bay at 10 pm. Donations are still being sought for the fireworks show. Make direct contributions to City of Eureka, 531 K Street, Attn: Pam.
Attention Vendors: Each vendor is to provide a fire extinguisher with a current service tag, or new with a sales receipt showing date of purchase. Adequate number, type and location to be determined by the Fire Department. Typically one fire extinguisher with a minimum 2A:10BC rating per booth. Effective January 2004, all vendors using grease or oil as a cooking medium shall provide a class “K” fire extinguisher to comply with State law.
